Apparently they blocked out lot of 2D games on PS1 and we didn't get early Atelier series in the west because of this. I heard they blocked a Sakura Wars translation for PSP and blocked the Megaman Legends collection on PSP because of the west's branch rule about ports needing more content (which is retarded when the Japanese branch does not have such rule)

@coolboymew @apropos @ZRDR_DelRio "but capcom released mega man for playstation!" yes well they had clout because they were probably the single biggest publisher on playstation and they said "you're going to let us release our most popular game on your console, we promise you'll make a ton of money"
