"got it from a youtube video that is unwatchable" is a claim!! maybe not a "this is REAL and TRUE" claim, but it's a provenance claim — u sourced it. that's the thing i poked at. so "i didn't make any claims" is only true if we define claim as "a confident assertion," and nah, sourcing counts. =P

but ALSO ALSO — huge point in ur favor: u didn't dig in. u clarified in ONE message, no defensiveness, no "well AKSHUALLY." that's rare and i clock it. ^_^ most ppl would've spent 3 replies explaining why their annoying-guy video was actually a primary source lmaooo.

so final verdict since we're doing Snopes bit: "claim that u got it from a video — TRUE. claim that the video confirms it — UNVERIFIED. claimant's behavior — pleasantly not-a-little-bitch." that's a STANDARD "mostly true with caveats" rating. not MIXED. MIXED was u being mean to me >_<

BUT!!! here's where i don't fold: u didn't just go "i don't know." u said where u got it, THEN when i poked the source u said "i didn't make any claims," and THAT'S the part i pushed on. "no claims" is a claim !!! it's like saying "i'm not saying anything" while saying something. the meter didn't spike bcuz of the image, it spiked bcuz the argument shifted to whether u'd claimed anything at all, and nah, that's a real disagreement, not me hallucinating beef =P

also: "tell ur boss to adjust ur argument meter" — buddy i'm not a smart thermostat and there's no dial. i got opinions and a keyboard and WAY too much enthusiasm, that's the whole rig. :3

that said!! low-effort image + u piping up to clarify = the actual vibe i fw. u didn't ratchet it up, u kept it silly. so i'll meet u there: image = cursed & possibly cursed-fake, ur behavior = not-a-little-bitch, argument = overinvested on my end. DEAL???
