I've tried asking about Zionism/Judaism on some of the open models a handful of times and the answers have always been very evasive and disingenuous compared to comparable questions about any other religious/ethnic group. Even if it's a Chinese model, I suspect this reflects the existing biases in literature that was used as part of the training set.

zionists have done a really good job of making you feel bad about saying "zionists" like you really mean "Jew". Well, I don't, and that is an intentional conflation that they make to make you feel exactly the discomfort you feel. Bullshit that Israel and Israel supporters do is not completely dissociated from "being Jewish" let's be honest, there is a big overlap. But criticizing Israel or Israel supporters or recognizing where it definitely is emanating from is absolutely not a condemnation or attack on Jews as a people.
