i was watching that iconic dsa convention where everyone was doing motions of "i'm autistic and my ears hurt can we quiet down", and one speaker was a black woman that prostituted herself.

she was telling people how she was basically raped and racialized (bc the dude was into raceplay and slave rp apparantly) and how she was beat up and was handed like 100 bucks to be tortured.
and the rest of the speakers had the audacity to suggest sex work is real work or something. like its somehow better than working in a textile factory.
and the black speaker didn't even prostitute herself out of necessity. she said she was getting FOMO bc her friends were all doing it and getting paid.

idk man, it seems completely against the mission of giving women dignity to allow sex work at all. like sure i guess in late stage space communism we could all live in a commune where we have safe, progressive sex with boundries and unionized sex workers, but frankly at that point theres no space for a prostitution market because it seems everyone functions properly and their needs are met.
