The very first MSDOS virus was two Pakistani brothers that attached a primitive but overly aggressive form of DRM to their medical software.

@skylar @boud @condret @sun @civodul They're mad that companies are calling their honor systems fake and gay when people have been doing it to companies for 40+ years now.

Information is meant to be shared. My problem with LLMs and training data is that they're not making everything public, and whoever it is at Amazon that decided to destroy rare books and use them as training data should be executed on the 50 yard line of a sold-out Jerryworld
