Why are SUVs called that?

They are terrible both for S (Sports), because they’re heavy, slow and terrible at real off-road activities and U (Utility) because I have seen a fucking Prius fit more than any SUV. Not to mention that you don’t really need a car that can do that for the one time in 3 years you actually transport large stuff. Just get a small car and rent a bigger one OR rent a trailer.

They’re also a terrible V (Vehicle), because they make roads unsafer, slurp far too much fuel/energy and are extremely large and heavy. Yet again A prius could do this job better.
