i always feel so weird about my birthday. like. i hope people remember that it’s coming soon, but i also don’t like coming off like “pay attention to me it is my birthday!” (i get annoyed when other people do it and i find it embarrassing to be like that personally), so im reluctant to mention it at all bc it feels like soliciting? if that makes sense?
