also there's a big difference  when you buy the game when it comes out and then get one DLC every 6 months, versus buying it a couple years after it came out, and being expected to buy 20 DLC's for $1000.

I bought ck2 when it came out and I genuinely looked forward to all the upcoming big updates and DLCs and had no problem paying for them.
