you can tell how poor and retarded someone is when they litter their front yard with demonic evil decorations depicting gore and serial killers only to give the kids a single fun size snickers. yes weve all seen the 20 foot skeleton its not funny anymore you just look like an asshole. 

personally i put out a couple jack o lanterns (real pumpkins real candles) and thats enough for decoration. then put out 5 bowls of king size bars, apples, soda, packs of goobers, m&ms, paydays, chips, water, etc etc. i just sit out there and tell them to pick whatever they want. discretion is a lost art but i always make sure the kids have a fun time.
