@sun @EllisDee @mushroom_soup Outlawing shell companies wouldn't solve all of our problems, but it would solve quite a few of them. The local hospital got bought out by private equity, "sold" the land itself to an LLC owned by themselves, and they're in the process of trashing the hospital's reputation and quality of care so they can declare bankruptcy and have their sockpuppet LLC sell the land the hospital's on
