With reCAPTCHA however, I'm forced to do the puzzle, the puzzles always take so long to load, and then I'm forced to do another once I do the first one correctly, so I'm stuck in an endless loop of puzzles. I notice it only occurring when using a VPN or adblocker, especially uBlock.

It might sound conspiratorial but I genuinely believe Google is making reCAPTCHA unusable if you have uBlock to discourage use and to "punish" users. I have no evidence for this other than my own experience and Google's past behavior. Google is hostile towards uBlock and has done anything to stop people from using it. It is a known fact that YouTube deliberately takes longer to load videos if you are using uBlock, we know Google does this kind of thing. They want to make the internet impossible to use if you have uBlock by making reCAPTCHA not function properly.

They appear more frequently, or force to do the puzzle only if you are using an adblocker, VPN or anything else that obscures your identity, they need to be able to get something out of you right?

"We can't track you, we can't show you ads, we can't sell your data, fuck you, do our puzzles."
