@lain has anyone translated the Bible using AI, that would actually be hilarious and anger so many people across all political axes.

@sun@shitposter.world @lain@fediffusion.art yes, particularly the Ethiopian bible is plagued by this issue since they have many additional books not in protestant or catholic bibles, proper English translations basically don't exist for the lay person. They exist in academia language or get paywalled restricted by onerous licenses. 
And people are upset by them because the sugg ass because LLMs don't have good training data on these obscure ancient languages.

@sun@shitposter.world @lain@fediffusion.art id also like the add that I haven't seen much people upset at llm use so much as the quality or people trying to pass the llm translations being done by credentialed individuals.
Christians tend to have the spiritual needs filled by Christ rather than having some need to witch-hunt the machine heresies of the progressive cult.
