@icedquinn I get the paranoia, when I listen to youtubes if someone mispronounces stuff I can't shake immediately thinking they're using an AI voice.

There's a guy who does mini documentaries and the god damn video mispronounced his own latin american name in different ways in different parts of his videos lol, and he still insists he is not using AI.

The only YouTube with AI voice I have respect for is an Eastern European guy who does histories of eastern bloc cars. He says he uses the AI to read his script because it takes a long time to write them because he’s not that good at English but his reading and pronunciation are even worse. I respect that. But I’m also willing to read scripts for him if he’d just ask. But it’s my fault for not offering.

@leyonhjelm @icedquinn its fine if someone declares it, that's a legitimate use and actually an accessibility win. but some people can't ever admit that because it would mean ai isn't total shit
