@wouter @lettosprey @xgranade you can run qwen 3.8 flash next at home with a strix halo or a big mac, as long as you have ~128gb ram. that's at around opus 4.6/4.8 level, so very usable. I had it write me a fediverse server and a gameboy emulator without guidance.

@lettosprey @wouter @xgranade i mean yeah i created one of the largest open source fedi servers before LLMs were around, it's a big achievement for a random laptop I have at home to be able to do the same. Of course it can do brand new stuff too, but these are the things i know about so I tend to test with them.
