how expensive is 'much more expensive'?
ivy owns a chinese-brand one (hero 240), which iirc cost ivy either around 16k to 30k (roughly 1 to 2 usd)
it's refillable too (ink sac)

@ivy Like you take a disposable model and add rubber ring and twisting thread just after the feed

Like if you run out of ink then can just twist open and pour a new one, shouldn't add too much cost to the build no? :cirnothinking:

they probably just don't have the same economies of scale that ballpoint/gel pen manufacturers do; and there's just not enough demand to justify it
they're not in any physical store ivy's seen, and nobody ivy's talked to knows what they are
