@prahou @rqm Why are you just spreading misinformation? How can you claim “doesn’t do much that I don’t already do” when your 236‑line policy file is smaller than some of our patches? Can you fix broken canvas randomizing via policies? Can you guard WebGL/DRM behind a permission with policies? It is pretty insulting to claim we do the equivalent of a 236‑line policy file.

hi he didn't write that document; I did. please don't blame him for it.
I don't think I'm spreading misinformation so much as disregarding the things you do which do not matter to me and are not important or valuable
hope this helps

@khm @prahou "They'll disable Widevine and lecture you about how it's for your own good" If you visit a site that requires Widevine, it will prompt you to enable it just like Firefox does. "but they'll also dump a ton of energy into maintaining a Windows port. I guess DRM is ok for the OS vendor, but not for you!" Seems like you have a grudge against us for whatever reason and make up nonsense to somehow justify it for yourself.

There is nothing wrong with this, DRM is nonfree software, and maintaining a windows port is good so it can be easier in the future for the windows users to hopefully one day switch to a libre operating system
Imagine if Krita, Blender, Ardour (and many libre synths and plugins), Kdenlive, Mindustry, etc just didn't have ports for windows, the windows users would be even more locked in on proprietary software, but since that isn't the case thankfully the users of those softwares can switch to a free operating system with more ease

> There's a project called "phoenix" which is sort of like Arkenfox, but it has too many emojis in its readme so I'm not linking to it.
> Librewolf: a downstream Firefox repackaging (but stay away from whatever shrieking infant runs their social media)
i sincerely hope no one takes articles like this seriously and believes your nonsense, bait used to believable LOL 😭
