@ins0mniak It seems like both sides are strictly governing for internet slam dunk points at the moment. It's like everyone thought 4chan trolling got him elected, and not him actually telling people they can actually get what they want out of government (even if he lied about it). People have voted for a change candidate every election except 2004, and if you go back further than that like I would and consider Kerry someone that wasn't interested in changing Bush's policies hardly at all and Dole as spoiled by Perot, 1988. We've been screaming for something different for almost 40 years now and they refuse to give it to us.

@mrsaturday Yeah and the thing is, a little internet fun is fine whatever, but it can't be you're entire philosophy lol. Like Trump has no ideology and no understanding of why thing work or how so of course he can't fix it or change anything. There's no ideology there. He can say America First all day but no one even knows what that means in practice. 

Not to say the democrats aren't insufferable assholes too but they at least understand how shit works on some fundamental level. 

Social media is just absolute hell tho, nothing is more cringe than some 45 year old congress critter trying to be cool lol

@ins0mniak Trump's ideology is "get rich quick" and "own the libs". That's it. That's all he cares about. Democrat ideology is just blind hatred of anyone too white/male/straight/Christian for their liking. It's a big reason why I can't get behind the DSA soys, even though they're the only group at the moment even pretending to give a fuck about the common man.

Only Congress critter I saw that managed to pull it off was some guy from Georgia that was talking to Japanese people about peanuts in Coke, and he opened a glass bottle Coke by flicking the cap off with his thumb, which I guess impressed them to where they were doing fan art and comparing him to Senator Armstrong
