@sun i'm pretty sure one of the books i did the VA work on was slop. it used words like "latinx" and also didn't even use the tones consistently.

@icedquinn I get the paranoia, when I listen to youtubes if someone mispronounces stuff I can't shake immediately thinking they're using an AI voice.

There's a guy who does mini documentaries and the god damn video mispronounced his own latin american name in different ways in different parts of his videos lol, and he still insists he is not using AI.

@sun i think if the models were actually what were being sold people would have to just shrug. "yep here's an infinite supply of goon fuel delivered directly to the dopamines."

some of the romancesloppers are so bad they forget to delete the prompts in the middle of the manuscript. they aren't even proofreading. it just goes from "i was gonna do my work but the dog man made me super wet and horny i can't believe it" in to "great! now lets include a montage of the hot dog man working out. certainly let's add that scene now! ..."
