Hi, I'm Skye, and earlier this year I changed my name via Deed Poll in the UK

I've used this to update my Scottish National Entitlement Card, which whilst being legal ID, isn't well accepted, especially in England, and the most accepted ID in England is a Driver's License, which I don't have (I don't have a car and haven't passed a driving test). On top of that, I have to travel into/out of the EU fairly often since my partner lives in Spain.

I have in the past managed to acquire a gender dysphoria diagnosis privately with help from my parents (who refuse to help with my passport annoyingly), and so I would also use this opportunity to get my gender marker updated on my passport

A passport in my new name would be very useful, however, I haven't as of yet managed to gather the money together to actually get the new passport.

The fees involved in getting a new passport in the UK are fairly high, with it costing £102 for the passport itself, £16 if I want to use the "check and send service" provided by the post office (which would be handy) and £5 if I any supporting documents I send to be sent back via secure delivery (which I would likely require)

So in total, £123. I could really use some help managing to gather this money.
