I found this situation too relatable, the first time I brought a girlfriend to meet my parents she dyed her hair black to appear more proper because she thought I came from a rigid upbringing and that my parents would disapprove of her hair and clothing choices but after we talked and play a board game, she saw that my parents were very lax.

This is other thing I've noticed that maybe in the future we will no longer have. Having your special one looking at your printed pictures from your childhood, it is becoming a lost art to print pictures and having albums filled with it. I keep mine because they are precious memories.
You won't get the same reaction as someone flipping a fucking iPad and showing a gallery filled with images. It is not same.
