got into a natural accident in the morning just after waking up
now I lost a side of my slipper
lesson learnt, I always use safety protective gear even if it looks stupid. safety is much prioritized than stupid looks

@ganbold@sns1.hydranlab.com my biggest obstacle is lack of vocabulary, grammar, structure and/or knowledge in the subject.
Sometimes I don't know enough words to express my idea without reusing the same words again and again. It's hard to write without sounding like a 5 years old. It's even more frustrating if I know there's a word to describe what I want to write but just couldn't recall it. I have to settle with simpler vocabulary and can't fully capture the idea what I want to share.
Grammar is also a big obstacle. I know when things are ungrammatical but don't know how to fix it. My brain never learn how to internalize tenses. I can only vaguely understand it and have to actively check if the tenses make sense.
There's also a problem of structure. I don't know how to build my sentences in a way that they can flow smoothly from one idea to the next. How to structure things nicely so that the readers could follow my idea. Most of the times my sentences weren't tied together and it's just a jumble of sentences stuck having to share a paragraph.
Last thing is knowledge. Writing really make it apparent when I lack the knowledge in a subject. I only know surface level idea. When writing I start to notice there are holes in my knowledge. I don't know why is the thing is the way they are. I don't know the hows. I don't know the motivation of doing a certain thing in a certain way. It really exposes me as a larper.
Most of this is because I was taught, or at least what stuck, is how to spot bad writing better than how to write a good one

@ganbold@sns1.hydranlab.com I need to learn that writing is an iterative process and not a oneshot thing. I should draft then read, revise, read, revise, read and revise again. But alas, I hate reading my own writing so either it will forever be a draft or I have to get it out as fast as possible.

initially before running tinyap, I have considered either pleroma/akkoma or snac. no for gts since gts focus on single-user meanwhile I was planning to have multi-users with invite only concept.
I've seen someone running snac, so I decided to run tinyap.
one can see the limited features as limitation, meanwhile me seeing the limited features as a feature itself. I am no longer able to spend time doom-scrolling on fedi because of it. just post, read notification, then close the tab. improved quality of life (hopefully)

boredom lead me to watch mao, an anime that has been airing since previous season I guess.
and guess what, it has the vibes of old anime. on a glimpse, reminds me something like inuyasha. but the more I watch it, the more of it combine a lot of things: something like apothecary (maomao), something with history, something with japanese folktale.
so fun!

oh wow you can embed audio file in markdown
not sure if its from the commonmark spec or just simply obsidian implement one. pretty neat imo. no longer need to quit/move from my editor

at least I am happy writing with obsidian. either its slop or not (my writing), both case are happy case in obsidian.
its not that the renderer makes obsidian special. not the graph thingy as well. but more of the navigation and file explorer and also how low in resource usage is it.
tried other open source options, few are bulky, few doesnt run in aarch64, few arent snappy. need to be studied for sure
