gigs done, client gonna use it in an hour or two
client told me about it in around Thursday or Friday, not really remember, but I was working on something else. then the next morning I immediately working on it. It was done by Saturday Night, because I remember working on different stuff by Sunday. but then client told me about the actual workflow and data used in Sunday Afternoon, I decided to work on Monday Morning instead.
so by previous weekend, vibed 2 projects. one is personal, kinda for community as well. the other one is a gig, internal for client, its kinda PaaS or SaaS so I am going to use it as well anyway. client gonna pay per use instead. the platform main feature is vision, which running a small local vision model from my mini pc. so basically I don't need to pay for vision model for bunch of prompt and data.
I hope I could get a pair of GPU so I can run faster and bigger model

I hate morning so bad in a way like, why is it so slow. I need it to be 9AM so I could buy breakfast, I need it to be around 11 to 12 so I can buy a lunch. what am I going to do from 5AM to 9AM or to 11AM

false memory is a visually satisfying chinese anime
its kinda a mix of old japanese anime but with those slightly modern (mid 2000-2010s) cel-shading style and motion. color choice on each scene are unquestionable. motion are fluid.
as an animator or illustrator you could probably see like where to start animating it, that is pretty clear. but for some scene where motion are fluid, you start to question yourself like would you choose the same direction as they did. the choice of those direction feels alive, not too frequent but not too rare as well

sleep and rest is such a luxury for me tonight that I don't want to do it. have a gig to finish by tmr, final check can be done in the morning anw. but working on something else so I could have a blast gig at 15th

wait what, is x1 carbon kind of the 2-in-1 laptop kinda laptop-and-tablet thingy? a news to me!
as someone with laptop + tablet, I could say that having this two is really annoying at some point. so kinda excited to see how 2-in-1 laptop used for mobile drawing without using any pentab. in term of battery, sensitivity, heat, etc. exciting!

my highest priority rn is running something on par of deepseek v4 flash locally with similar inference quality. the amount of money I spent on cloud inference for deepseek v4 flash these past 30 days is insane thanks to the rise of gigs I received
but the issue with gigs is that its not something I could receive 100% for sure, the number isnt that big either.
at this rate I could spend almost $100 a month for deepseek v4 flash alone. buckle up to 3 months, $300, I could buy a GPU but it will be very limited to 16GB VRAM with lower bandwidth or higher bandwidth but just 8-12GB VRAM. idk what is on par of deepseek v4 flash with such price. losing money on things you dont own is an emotional attack imo

one thing that I started to accept is, donation is not an "upfront payment" its more of like "thanks for all the deeds you did"

i always feel weird when i have to make that kind of post. but i think it has to be done.
catto.garden has been the digital home for a bunch of critters for the last year and a half, from hosting their personal websites and fediverse presence to supporting their communications. and we accept more critters over time. to be able to do so, we don't depend on ads or sponsorships. but anyone can help us keep the lights on by donating:
