Something that's really burning under my nails:
Please, please, please stand up and say something when grown ups are shouting at kids.
Stand up and say something when you hear permanent screaming in your neighbours flat.
Stand up and say something when grown ups beat children.
Stand up and say something if you see anything happening to a child that said child should not live through.

Talk to the parents. Tell them that this ain't right. Ask them, what kind of problems they got raising a child, because no one ever tells people how to raise a small human. Tell them they can get help. That there are people out there who are professionals. Who won't judge them. Who want to solve their problems. Who can give them advice so they're better parents.

Child protection is the task of a whole society and it starts with standing up. The rest is up to us professionals.
