am i the only one who seems to like reading about history and visiting the actual places events happened more than museums? museums usually just seem to have artifacts which in many cases aren’t even the genuine thing (just replicas) and just tell a slice of the story, and in some cases blatant propaganda
when you visit the actual place, i feel like it contextualizes what one reads about better, like you’re actually living in the place and events
