the hardest thing about japanese is not even the kanji (kanji is FUN PICTURE STUDY ACTUALLY) or the million verb conjugations or knowing when to use wa or ga its the fact that they can ask a question like 'ashita hayai???' and they will mean 'do you have to get up early for work tomorrow??' like jfc man use your words

@aetios my nihongo sensei would counter and say that english has alot of even more infuriating quirks
