@cell yeah that's why my funny server stores in flac and then has transcoding to opus >:3
you're intended to transcode on the fly and then cache whatever you listen to so it only has to happen once ^^

@toast the fact that i was able to listen to the raw flac stream a continent away just shows how efficient things can be hehe >:3
still less bandwidth than a good quality (i do mean DVD tier) 480p video AND audio encode
