Also the version I remember was much more lewd than this. I think the japanese script is really prone to interpretation, and here the voice intonations help (on snes there's no voice acting), and this translation kept it vague whereas the one I remember went head on with the lewd 🤣🤣🤣

This game is INCREDIBLE OMGOMG
Through the lore of the game (NPCs, books, sidequests, ...), I got a ton of info about Tales of Symphonia, Tales of the Abyss, and I believe Tales of Destiny
It's so amazing omg it's very clear that this is 1 single coherent world and each game is about a part of its history

Also this game is making me so much more appreciative of Tales of Symphonia. So many details like Lloyd's father only make sense when you know details from Tales of Phantasia (I'm hoping to get even more of that in the other games ofc)

Anyway I'm still in part 2, it's very long :blobcatSweats: but I'm still playing, I'm hooked!!!
