controversial post bc i have a lot of followers in the covid cautious bubble ;p

but still
id like to: 

not constantly get looked at weird by everyone else
not look ugly af bc masks with headbands fuck up my hair
be able to think (i can unfortunately not blur out the constant sensation of the mask and the hot air bouncing off the inside of it!)
not burn 1-2€ a day on masks

@schrottkatze@treehouse.systems its super rare to see anyone wear a mask in sydney any more. my supervisor wore one the other day as she had a sore throat. anyone else is wearing them, if they aren't coughing i assume they have bad hay fever. i go to uni campuses sometimes and don't see masks there either. for context there was really no 'winter wave' of covid this year.
