snac users who use an app to scroll the timeline: do you get this thing where you get a way into the timeline, then it won't load any older posts?

idk if its snac or the subway tooter app i use. or maybe its just snac on openbsd.

it seems to happen more if i have the "don't show replies" option ticked on subway tooter, or if i boost a few things, my own boost shows up further down the timeline than it should (like i boost and then scroll some more back in time and there it is) and then no more posts will load.
