super torn on this, because I love my light phone iii

but

I don't like the new developer program thing, what's the point if it's just a smartphone but worse

and

if I'm gonna buy a flip smartphone why not that commodore thing that runs actual linux instead of skinned android

on the other hand

flip light phone looks AMAZING

@bnys The main thing keeping me on an Android phone instead of a light phone is Signal. If they ship a Signal client then I'll probably switch.

@bnys The only thing holding me back is band members. SMS seems to be the only thing they understand for coordinating rehearsals and gigs, and my T9 is awful. And we all know how fun speech-to-text is. :/

I suppose "mini folding bluetooth keyboard" is an option...
