As I lay in bed tonight, reading a book, Rey has curled up next to me. She’s resting on her side, curling up with her head on one of her legs. Her breathing is calm and slow, and eyes closed shut.

Napping little one. Our purebred mutt was resting on our floor in the den. She is laying upright, with one paw sticking out, and her head resting on the other. The white coat blends in with the light flooring. The step down to the room, and its door are a bit out of focus.

Ghost dog, moved during a long exposure. Outside a kid’s baseball field at night. Lit from the lights above. Green grass and dirt.
I had an ND filter on, so 13sec f4 ISO1250 28mm

No picture this time, but while I was relaxing in the bedroom Rey scratched at the tile with paws, then laid down in the bathroom. Probably looking like https://hachyderm.io/@becomingwisest/112414721245958775
A few minutes later, she gets up, continues down the hallway, jumps onto the bed with me. She then proceeds to curl up next to me, her back touching my side.

Rey is waiting for people to pass her in the hallway, or go to the bathroom. She expects to be paid the hallway tax/toll.
Until then she's lying on her side. She turned her head up to look at the camera after a few pictures, figures out I'm not going to pay, and goes back to resting.

Rey stole my side of the couch recently. She’s laying with her head up. I decided to set the scene for the photo, and put the comfy dark brown blanket on her body. This helps define the contrast with her mostly white fur, and have the image pop.

Rey wanted to see and say hi to the dog on the other side of the wall. She jumped and stretched her paws as high on the wall as she could. Her head couldn’t see over, and here she is with her head turned back to look at me.

Rey sleeps in our room, shut in so she won’t make as much noise. She’ll sleep on the bed, hop off, sleep some more. This morning she woke up from my side, hopped in, and curled up with her butt next to mine. She then put the cherry on top, and used my feet as a pillow. I’m happily stuck.

Another evening, and I’ll be turning into an east coast pumpkin, and wanting to be asleep. Rey has joined me on the bed, curled up on the made bed, resting her head near a body pillow.

The blanket/bed thief. Rey sleeps on most of the blanket, in the middle of the bed.
After I took the picture, I slid into the side of the bed, and grabbed some of the remaining blanket. She got up, hopped off the bed, and looked for a good spot. I stole the blanket back, grabbed pillows, and claimed space on the bed.
She hopped back up, spun a few times in one direction, and curled up at the opposite corner of the bed, out of reach of any petting, except by foot.
