@anemone @augustus I dug further and the totality of her connection was her father telling her she had a jewish great grandfather, they didn't follow the religion or practices in any way and her relative was dead before she was born. But yeah ethnically I am wrong and it could explain why she looks Jewish which is the point of the conversation so I'm wrong in that sense while I think I'm right that functionally she adopted literally everything herself tactically

@anemone @augustus I just want to be careful to not be the guy who isn't in that group and aggressively disputes someone with a verifiable family connection is not in that group they identify with, or at least I want to be careful about that. similar issue: white woman fake indians
