We added a new frontpage at https://www.fediverse.org/ that removed the "funny" copy.

We also added builds for our official Pleroma/Mitra/Akkoma/Mastodon-compatible frontend, lightfe so you can run it yourself: https://git.fediverse.org/fediverse.org/lightfs/tags

@admin the who we are section could do with more specific information. I still don’t know *who* “we” are.

Right now the only public member is @zero@posting.solutions but other people are helping quietly. More to come, got some FEPs to submit sooner or later, and we're working on:

W3C verifiable credentials on ActivityPub (aka "achievements, awards")
embeddable miniapps authenticated against your home server
improved presence similar to myspace and dreamjournal
and much more.
