This account is mainly for testing the #snac fediverse / activitypub server.


This server ran from 02/2026 - 04/2026 on a Micronics Spitfire with 2x Pentium II @ 233MHz, 512MB SD-RAM and a 120GB SSD, powered by NetBSD 10.1


As it got too loud and power hungry, it now runs on a 100% off-grid solar powered mini pc.

Hello again from #snac !
After being offline for about two months, this snac instance is back on-line again! The old Pentium II System was just a bit loud in my living room and power consumption was also respectable.
This snac instance now runs on a fully off-grid solar powered mini pc with an Intel N4100 CPU.
With TurboBoost disabled, it consumes only 1,5-2,5W in idle, and max 6-7W under heavy load.
Beside this snac instance, the Mini PC also hosts (as id did in a cluster before) my personal website https://deltalima.org
There you can also see the live stats of the MiniPC itself and the solar system. (Solar 2 is dedicated for the mini pc)
