caveman

doesn't really do as much as people think it does. simpler to hit yourself on the head with a brick and let the damage type out vs updating skill

sure if you think about it in terms of creating a junk-drawer full of abstractions

this cluster took about ~1hr to build+smoke+go live

3 nodes

mix of edge and metal over wireguard and rayfish

dual ingress/egress gateways

gitops with flux via out of band git system

runs experiments all day long

has been kong'd with chaos experiments to look for failure points

and it costs 20$/year to run. (edge vps x2)

yes there's a learning curve, i wouldn't call it steep. maybe it's steep if you can't focus, then yes you're walking up a vertical glass wall. ---Attachments--- image: https://soc.klan5.am/media/01M3HWTWRMXJ4MA0K6AZDYT9JA
