on Reddit someone asked which coat of arms a certain image showed. I told them since I know it and was banned for making unsubstantiated claims, not citing a source.

@kaia The normal and sane response to people saying bullshit is to ignore them.
(not saying you are posting bs, but they seemed to think it was) 
They could have also asked you for a source, or waited for someone to back you up.

Even Wikipedia generally doesn't ban you even from an article if you don't cite your work one time. It takes a history of doing that.

@Paradox yeah, it was not the OP that banned me, it was the mods. I posted in that subreddit before, so I was not a new poster. anyway, doesn't matter at all :ina_nod:
