Sharing an ad with the intent of making fun of the add or pointing out the weirdness of it is still sharing an ad, it doesn't matter if you do it knowing it's just an attention-grabbing stunt, it evidently worked on you since you're doing the exact sort of thing marketers want you to do.

I think a lot of people who think they understand advertising don't actually understand it, a lot of the time it's just about keeping the name of a product in people's head, not about shilling for it as such. Any way they can be part of the conversation helps promote them.

World music is a funny genre in many ways. Like, every sub-genre of it is hyper-local as it's based on the traditional forms of music from a specific part of the world, but taken together it's a global genre consisting of basically anything that isn't north american or european pop music or made in that mode.
