@grey I don’t understand, random polling is better than relying on only people motivated enough to navigate past all that friction to record they really liked or disliked it.

@sun @grey “Random” pulling only on opening weekend to a movie with a lot of controversy around casting means you’ll generate mostly reviews from people who really were inclined to like it. It does filter the people who would fake review out, but it would be better to show both of these numbers in interest of fairness. I think they tried the same crap with ghostbusters too.

@BowsacNoodle @grey my thought was if you focused only on people that chose to vote you’d get more ideologues. I am thinking though that likely nobody went to that movie and paid just to negative review bomb
