if fauci's argument that he can plead 5th despite federal pardon because of state prosecutions was true, it would render the entire prior 5th amendment supreme court ruling irrelevant, which is obviously not the case

---Reply--- 7666@7666@comp.lain.la (2026-08-07 10:29:30) @sun if the purpose of a proceeding is an investigation into opening criminal charges against yourself then it makes sense not to give your opponents an ounce of leeway and to use your rights appropriately in the pursuit of that mission. not a since ounce of good faith in that room from anyone is warranted.

nothing I say should be misconstrued as support for fauci as one denthead has already done. the protections at play are larger than any one man.

@7666 everything he is doing is sensible if you're defending yourself, and I would do the same, I just think the actual legal defense his lawyer is putting up has some big holes. but you gott do what you can
