@coolboymew @condret it may require some instrumentation to extract resources from the game, probably won't be "find me the answer, go" but this is in fact something I wanted to learn how to solve probvlems with it.

I've been asking because I saw someone on fedi saying it can straight up build a GB emulator. They tried an Snes emulator and got a working, but broken results. They would just feed it the screenshot of the broken result and it would come back with fixes until the Super Mario World title screen looked like it should

@coolboymew @condret I've recently been playing with the new ChatGPT model Astra, which is specifically crafted for "I don't even know how to ask the question" style unknown problems. I've already used it to solve things that chatgpt used to suck ass at.

@hj the neo geo is unique because it has no tile acceleration, it only has sprites, all backgrounds, everything, are just carefully arranged sprites.

The one thing I know against it is that we know there's 0 collision there, even if a path seems to exists. Someone made a gameshark code to teleport left (I lost the code)

Otherwise, I believe the game has code to spawn levels? I forget, been a while. There's nothing preventing it to have a level warp appears if the bush gets cleared

it could be tightened up a bit to use less tokens, but with screenshots, ROM in a dir and that prompt it honestly seems to be enough to get an answer imho

@harblinger way too vague probably, but then again, it can build snes games and you can use LLM to repair filesystems, so who the fuck knows what it could manage

Claymates - Snes

At the beginning of the game there's this carnival looking area that you can seemingly go to, but it's mysteriously blocked by a bush (First screenshot)

Second screenshot is the area with the first stage. When you clear the stage, there's robots you can direct in some sort of puzzle to ultimately have them grab a axe and cut down the trees

It is not possible to somehow bring them to the bush. Even if you did with a gameshark code, it does nothing

The question is:
-Is there anything programmed around the area of the bush that the game can trigger?
-Is there anything programmed that can make the bush disappear?
-Is there anything programmed that would spawn a level?
-Is there anything programmed leftover in the code that would indicate that they planned something there, but it ended up not happening and they had to lazily block the path at the last minute?


Something like that

glm5.3 flash saw that "doas" and "apk" were hard-banned by the harness (crush), so it symlinked them to ~/.local/bin to run them lmfao
