Nitter is a front-end of Twitter, which means a way to accessing Twitter without directly visiting Twitter.

That's why it's legally gray area.

Okay so, in all sincerity - I know a number of organizations have basically depended on stuff like Nitter/XCancel as an excuse to continue posting important information on X. Now that people without accounts are really locked out I hope we can actually put serious pressure on organizations to post information publicly.
